Autumn 2023 Herbal Package
A collaboration between Sasha Botanica & Dan de Lion of Return to Nature, this Autumn Herbal Package is a seasonal bundle of handcrafted, foraged herbal products to embrace the energetics of autumn.
In exploring the local landscape we foraged & grew each plant that went into our crafts. Being able to create each of these items is a living prayer that we can offer you - the depth of this connection to nature, as our growing community-supported herbalism effort. This ensures that your donations sustain our capacity to continue crafting from the seasonal landscape for you.
Elderberry & Autumn Olive Elixir:
2oz antioxidant immune boost! Made with locally foraged Elderberry, Autumn Olive Berry, Chaga, White Pine and Sweet Annie, this potent elixir is wonderful to take as is, or added to teas and mixed drinks.
Ingredients: Wild Harvested Elderberry, Autumn Olive Berry, Chaga, White Pine and Sweet Annie, Raw Honey from Swarms Bustin Honey, Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, Spring Water
Birch Tar Soap:
One bar of Birch Tar Soap, made with birch tar we made from locally foraged white birch bark. This bar of soap has a smokey, woodsy scent. Pine tar is known for its antibacterial & anti-fungal properties and has anti-inflammatory qualities that can help to soothe itchiness and irritation. Ingredients: Birch Tar, Coconut Oil, Olive Oil, Castor Oil, Sodium Hydroxide.
Hops & Witch Hazel Hydrosol:
A 2oz bottle of tonifying hydrosol blend, distilled with locally foraged Hops and Witch Hazel. Use as toner, face & body mist.
This hydrosol can be used as a facial toner or mist as it can help to hydrate & balance the skin's pH level. Spray hydrosol onto your face after cleansing or use a cotton pad to apply it as a toner.
Herbal Mushroom Stock Powder:
This medicinal mushroom stock powder is a powerful blend of locally foraged and grown herbs and mushrooms. Utilize this blend by adding a spoonful or two to your soups, stews and bone broths this season to give it an extra boost of flavor and medicine.
Ingredients:
Locally Foraged: Lactarius, Chanterelle and Sumac
Locally grown: Rosemary, Sage, Thyme, Oregano
Nettle and Ramp Salt that we made in the spring, with foraged nettle and ramp.
Forest Salve:
2oz tin of all-purpose healing salve.
Ingredients:
Forest Harvested Black Birch, Birch Tar, Calendula, Spruce Sap and Camphor infused in Olive Oil, Almond Oil and Beeswax.
Fire Cider Vinegar:
This 4oz bottle of immune-boosting Fire Cider can be taken as a shot or can can be added to salad dressings, marinades, pickling, soups etc.
